Overview
Hello and welcome to the first minor update to my global game jam entry Get That Ball! I've spent the start of the weekend adding a number of things that didn't make it into the initial build. I've spoken more about how I built the initial version of Get That Ball! on my website in a post mortem, check it out if you're interested!
Change Log
- Title in game is now 'Get That Ball!' rather than 'Get The Ball!'
- Added a loading bar to give the player confidence something is actually happening in the background!
- The loading bar sits no a fancier loading screen too.
- The instructions incorrectly stated the controls were 'A,W,E,D', fixed to 'A,W,E,F'.
- The background music has been shortened for quicker loading times, but now loops too!
- If you hate the music, you can now mute it!
- An About page has been added that links to my Twitter and Itch.io page.
- Credits have moved from the title screen to a new Credits page.
- The font is now 'funkier'.
What next?
Next up I aim to work on the overall look and feel of the game adding sound effects and more animations to make the hedge feel alive!
